AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY
Goal 7: The seventh sustainable development goal seeks to achieve five outcomes: making modern energy available everywhere, increasing the proportion of renewable energy globally, doubling the rate of improvement in energy production efficiency, encouraging research and investment in clean energy and related technology, and expanding and upgrading energy services in developing countries. In other words, these goals include making available reliable and affordable energy sources while increasing the proportion of renewable energy in total global energy production. This entails improving energy efficiency, strengthening international cooperation to facilitate wider availability of clean energy technology, and increasing investment in renewable energy infrastructure.
THE TARGET
We must start using clean energy because it does not harm the environment, such as solar energy, etc. People are still dependent on coal and oil for energy and electricity production for a long time now. In view of the damage that these sources have caused to the environment, countries around the world are seeking other alternatives for energy production.
