Goal 2:The second goal seeks eight targets and uses 14 indicators to measure progress. The five “target outcomes” include: ending hunger and improving access to food; ending all forms of malnutrition; agricultural productivity; sustainable food production systems and resilient agricultural practices; the genetic diversity of seeds, cultivated plants and farmed and domesticated animals; Investments, research and technology. The "means of achieving" the three goals include the following: preventing restrictions on trade and addressing distortions in global markets for agricultural products and markets for food commodities and their derivatives.
